Attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) is a condition of the nervous system.

The signs and symptoms in a child with ADHD include:

  • Cannot pay attention in a way children his or her age should be able to
  • Has trouble concentrating
  • Is easily distracted
  • Does not think before acting (impulsivity)
  • Is very physically active
