About Alyssa M. Price, PA-C

Physician assistant Alyssa Taylor, PA-C, specializes in pediatric orthopedics and values the relationships she has developed with her patients and their families.

"My unique approach is making sure my patients and their families have all the information needed to feel comfortable in the care we're providing, as well as having the knowledge to advocate for themselves," says Alyssa.

Alyssa appreciates firsthand the uncertainty her patients may feel in their healthcare journey. Her mother had many complex medical problems. It was her desire to understand and advocate for her mom that fueled her interest in a medical career.

"Through my schooling, I became increasingly more amazed at all things medicine and knew that it was exactly what I wanted to do," she says.

She developed a passion for pediatric orthopedics during PA school. "I loved how resilient pediatric patients were, especially when dealing with orthopedic injuries such as fractures," she says.

During her training, Alyssa rotated with the orthopedic team at Phoenix Children's and was impressed by the level of care provided and the hospital's singular focus on caring for children.

"I am honored to work at such an amazing hospital where everyone has the common goal of creating the best experience possible for our patients and their loved ones," she says.

When not at work, Alyssa enjoys navigating life as a new mom and spending as much time with her family as she can.
