John S. Jones, MD, is the founder of the Pediatric Pain Medicine Program at Phoenix Children's Hospital, and served as its Medical Director and Section Chief for 10 years. He currently works as the Director of Public Relations and Program Development. Dr. Jones earned his medical degree at The University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. He completed his internship in anesthesiology and critical care medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, his residency in anesthesiology at The New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center and his fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology and critical care at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He joined Valley Anesthesiology Consultants and the Phoenix Children's Hospital medical staff in 1997.
