About Robert F. Gonsalves, DO

Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Gonsalves first came to Arizona to attend Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. He then completed his pediatric residency at Emory University in Atlanta, and returned to the desert to complete his fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Upon completing his training, he accepted a position as an attending pediatric endocrinologist here at PCH. Dr. Gonsalves's clinical interests include thyroid cancer, calcium issues, and type 1 diabetes. He also serves as a Quality Improvement leader within the division. Outside of work he enjoys kayaking, seeing live music, discovering new restaurants, and time with family.
