Why Us?

Neuromuscular Program

Our team at the Pediatric Movement Disorders Program at Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s provides reliable, collaborative care for children with neuromuscular disorders.

As a designated Muscular Dystrophy Clinic site, we provide exceptional care, unparalleled expertise and careful attention to the unique needs of every child; a model that fosters positive outcomes. We diagnose and treat a variety of neuromuscular disorders — including congenital myopathies, muscular dystrophy, neuromuscular junction and inflammatory muscle disorders.

Consider a clinical trial

In order to deliver the very best care possible, we stay at the forefront of innovative research. Clinical trials are at the core of what we do. We encourage our patients to participate in clinical trials that strive to improve diagnosis and treatment, as well as translational research studies that use emerging technologies such as genomics, proteomics and stem cell-based neuron models.
