January 02, 2019 - The Pediatric Epilepsy Program at Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s Hospital for the first time has been accredited by The Laboratory Accreditation Board of the American Board of Registered EEG Technologists (ABRET) for its excellence in conducting and interpreting electroencephalogram (EEG) tests for patients throughout Phoenix Children’s.
January 02, 2019 - The 16th annual Give-A-Thon for Phoenix Children’s Hospital became the top fundraiser of its kind in the country by collecting more than $1.58 million in donations during a 19-hour radio simulcast on KTAR News (92.3 FM) and Arizona Sports (98.7 FM). This marks the seventh year in a row that Bonneville Media’s two stations have exceeded $1 million in donations.

January 02, 2019 - Starting Saturday, December 17 at 5:00 a.m., Respiratory Virus Season visitor restrictions will be in effect at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. This means visitors must be at least 12 years old to visit with patients who are hospitalized.
December 28, 2018 - Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) and Phoenix Children’s Hospital announced the two organizations reached agreement on a new three-year contract. Under this new Contract, Phoenix Children’s Hospital will continue to be an in-network provider for BCBSAZ members and those families insured under plans that utilize the BCBSAZ network.
Enterprise Mobility Exchange Declares Phoenix Children’s a Winner for Excellence in Innovation at the Inaugural Mobie Awards
November 07, 2018 - Phoenix Children’s Hospital was announced the winner of the Best Use Of Innovative Mobile Technology category in the 2018 Mobie Awards, an inaugural awards event presented by Enterprise Mobility Exchange. The Hospital is recognized for deploying customizable iPad devices in patient rooms.
October 12, 2018 - Beginning on October 1, 2018, most AHCCCS Children’s Rehabilitative Services (CRS) members will be enrolled in one of the seven AHCCCS Complete Care (ACC) plans. ACC plan members may choose to receive care from any community provider contracted as an in-network provider with their ACC plan. Phoenix Children’s is contracted as an in-network provider with five of the seven ACC plans, including Care 1st, Steward Health Choice Arizona, Banner University Family Care, Mercy Care and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. Phoenix Children’s continues to work with the other ACC plans to have its care and facilities in-network with these plans.
